Lifting the Ban: A Guide on How to Unban Someone on Discord
If you've accidentally banned someone on Discord or have reconsidered a ban, the process of unbanning is straightforward. Follow these steps for how to unban someone on discord:
Access Server Settings: Navigate to your Discord server and click on the server name at the top of the channel list. Select "Server Settings."
Choose Bans: In the Server Settings menu, find and click on the "Bans" tab. This displays a list of users who are currently banned from the server.
Locate the User: Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the user you want to unban.
Revoke Ban: Click on the user's name, and a window will appear. Choose "Revoke Ban" to lift the ban on that user.
Confirm the Action: Discord will prompt you to confirm the unbanning action. Confirm, and the user will be unbanned, allowing them to rejoin the server.
Keep in mind that the user must have a valid invite link to rejoin the server. Additionally, this process is specific to server bans and does not affect account-level bans.
